There is a beautiful design of carved open work on the top of the pendant. The pendant is 2” long by 1 1/2” wide. I have beaded it with 10 mm pale blue aquamarine that picks up the color of the jade. The aquamarine has varying degrees of density and clarity which adds to the interest of the necklace. This one of a kind necklace is 18” around and is finished with a 18k gold vermeil clasp.
