This necklace is made with a beautiful piece of carved jade that is wrapped in 18k gold vermeil. The reddish orange jade with golden highlights is carved with a raised frog and a lotus. The artist has used the variation in the color of jade to carve the frog out of the lighter part of the jade so it really stands out. The 15 mm oval Baltic amber beads are a perfect complement. In between the Baltic amber beads are some smaller amber beads and some jade beds the same color as the frog. The pendant measure 2 3/4" long by 1 3/4" wide at the widest part. The necklace is 19 1/2" around and is finished with a 18k gold vermeil clasp. The one-of-a-kind necklace is a very dramatic necklace.
