This is a beautiful piece of natural bi-color jade - lavender and green. The carving is of a lavender jade dragon sitting on top of an oval pi that is both green and lavender. The carving is very detailed and shows off the dragon very well. I have beaded it with 13 mm lavender blue jade beads that are varied in color - some with more lavender than others. The jade is 2” by 1 1/4” and drops from the jade necklace that is 19” around. The necklace is finished with a large 18k gold vermeil hook clasp.
Lavender jade is one of the more rare colors in jade. This dramatic necklace is a fashion statement piece as well as a collector’s item.

The dragon is a supernatural creature and is the symbol of power, strength, wisdom and goodness. It represents the utmost in accomplishment: good luck and a successful life. It is also believed to be the guardian of hidden treasures. It represents the spirit of growth and change. The pi is symbolic of money.
