These earrings are made with two drops on each earring of tourmaline cut into 4 mm cubes.  The colors are greens and pinks.  They drop 1 1/4” from a 18k gold vermeil post.  The colors a re gorgeous.

Tourmaline is the birthstone for October.  Some stones appear to change color when viewed from different angles. According to ancient Egyptian legend the tourmaline is found in all colors because it is believed to have picked up all the colors of the rainbow as they come in so many beautiful colors.
